Risks

The biggest risk our project faces is the domain related to and the data required to complete our project. Our project is a specialized inventory management system for our stakeholder. This project requires solid understanding of our stakeholder's business and its operations. To implement the management system, we need to correctly abstract our stakeholder's manufacturing process, which will require a lot of time as it is a big company with many different systems. This project also hinges on receiving the necessary data from the stakeholder to build the database required for this project to run.

We have tackled this risk by meeting with the stakeholder on multiple occasions, online and on-site, in order to better understand their manufacturing process. We built a user flow diagram to check our understanding against our stakeholder's actual processes. We have also requested all the data we might need from our stakeholder early to prevent delays.
