Keep a Plus course roster in step with the controlling LMS - #305
Resubmits the closed#304 so review covers the whole branch.
Summary
A Plus launch refreshes names and roles from the controlling LMS after the course opens. An instructor launch is due after 5 minutes, a student launch after 30. A failed token is tried again in about a minute. Someone who leaves the LMS roster stays for 7 days, then the membership is marked deleted. Their work stays. A later roster row or launch clears deleted. Removal runs only when the pull is complete and every member saved.
Instructors place Roster in Settings → Navigation (upper left, upper right, or the avatar menu). The Instructor only column is locked. The first tab lists everyone, including deleted memberships, with Delete and Undelete. A Plus course adds a Roster log tab with the last start, recent errors, recent pulls, and Refresh roster now. Tokens are not stored in the log. The log still includes the member email for this first rollout; a later privacy pass should revisit that by 2027-04-26.
A launch of a soft-deleted membership loads that row and clears deleted for every course, file or manifest. A permanent block would be a separate feature. Roster stays out of a course menu until an instructor checks a placement.
A Google login empties the previous session. Site /lessons stays on the file-based lessons unless the cookie is a Google login. Map, Profile, and the courses widget are offered and shown only for a Google login. A non-Google save keeps those items in their previous slots.
Test plan
Launch a Plus course as an instructor, then open Roster log. Confirm a start time and a people count, or a specific error such as a failed token.
In Settings → Navigation, confirm Roster sits above Settings and the Instructor only column is a dash. Check a placement, save, and confirm a student does not see the link.
On the Roster tab, delete someone and confirm the row stays with Undelete. Undelete them. Confirm you cannot delete yourself.
Launch as a student within 5 minutes of an instructor pull and confirm the log does not start another pull. Launch as an instructor after 5 minutes and confirm it does.
Remove someone who is still on the LMS roster, launch again after a refresh, and confirm the pull or their launch puts them back.
Launch an ordinary (non-Plus) course whose membership was marked deleted and confirm the launch succeeds and clears deleted.
With a Plus cookie and no Google login, open site /lessons and confirm the file-based lessons. Open /courses/{id}/lessons and confirm the course manifest.
With that same cookie, open Settings → Navigation and confirm Map, Profile, and the courses widget are not offered and do not appear in the menu.
Plus courses now sync LMS rosters automatically, with refresh intervals based on instructor or learner launches.
Instructors can view course members and roster-sync history, refresh the roster, and mark memberships as deleted or restore them.
Roster pages show membership status and recent sync results.
Instructor navigation includes a roster link that cannot be moved or disabled.
Bug Fixes
Incomplete roster pulls no longer remove members; absent members are marked deleted only after a complete sync and can return through a later roster update or launch.
Site lessons use file-backed content for non-Google sessions rather than an active manifest.
Saving course navigation outside a Google login session retains hidden site-account items.
An instructor or student launch refreshes names and roles on the Sakai timing, and instructors can place a roster screen that shows people, deleted memberships, and the pull log.

A finished names-and-roles response can still contain a member that did not save. Those people stay until a later pull saves everyone.

A Plus launch shares this cookie. Leaving its keys in place let Lessons open another tenant's manifest.

Walkthrough
This pull request adds Plus-course roster synchronization, instructor roster and sync-log pages, and membership restoration. It also changes navigation behavior for non-Google sessions, resets PHP session data during site login, and adjusts manifest resolution for site lessons requests.
Plus course launches route through a helper that schedules roster synchronization. The service applies instructor and learner timing thresholds, retry holds, and per-course locks.
NRPS retrieval and pull recording lib/src/Services/Plus/RosterSync.php, lib/src/Util/LTI13.php, lib/tests/Services/Plus/RosterSyncTest.php, docs/tsugi-plus-design.md
The service retrieves bounded NRPS pages, stores members, and logs pull results. The loader reports HTTP status and can return truncated partial results. The design note describes the implemented pull behavior and logging.
Membership lifecycle and queries lib/src/Services/Plus/RosterSync.php, lib/src/Core/LTIX.php, lib/tests/Services/Plus/RosterSyncTest.php
The service exposes member and status queries, deletion controls, and expiration of absent memberships after a complete pull. Launch processing loads and restores soft-deleted memberships.
Instructor routes and templates provide roster and sync-log views, token-protected membership changes, and forced refresh. Navigation adds an instructor-locked Roster entry.

Login session reset and redirect lib/src/Services/Login/GoogleLoginService.php, lib/tests/Google/GoogleLoginSessionTest.php
Site login clears PHP session data and resets request identity. Redirect selection uses the captured return URL before the callback or default redirect.
Site lessons manifest resolution lib/src/Core/Manifest.php, lib/tests/Core/ManifestTest.php
Site lessons requests outside Google login sessions bypass manifest resolution. Tests cover site lessons, course-specific lessons, and Google-login requests.

Non-Google sessions retain hidden site-account navigation items when saving. The editor and compiled course navigation omit those items for non-Google sessions.

Reuse the Tool CSRF helpers instead of a private session token.
Roster builds its own plus_roster_token. Tool already provides csrfField(), checkCsrf() and requireCsrf(), and Settings uses them for its forms.
The custom check is sound: it uses random_bytes and hash_equals. The cost is a second CSRF mechanism with its own token lifetime and failure messages, which can drift from the shared one.
To switch:
Replace token() and tokenMatches() with self::csrfField() in people.inc.php and index.inc.php.
Replace the tokenMatches calls at Lines 42 and 80 with self::checkCsrf().
Remove the hidden token inputs.
Tool::csrfOk() also accepts a same-origin POST when the session token is lost. Check that this fallback is acceptable for these two forms.
As per path instructions: "Follow conventions in the nearest files; keep diffs small and focused."

Prune lti_context_plus_log rows. Retention is unbounded.
Every pull writes one row. An active instructor can trigger a pull every 5 minutes.
Each row stores up to 60000 characters of scrubbed debug text. Per-member debug lines include email (lines 239-240) for up to DEBUG_MEMBER_LIMIT members.
logRows() reads only the newest 20 rows per outcome. Older rows only accumulate, and they keep member emails indefinitely. The planned privacy review by 2027-04-26 does not limit how much data builds up before then.
Delete old rows in writeLog() after the insert. Use a fixed window such as 30 days.

Do not ignore the manifest for an active Plus launch.
LMS launches use the unprefixed /lessons route. A Plus launch stores its manifest_id in the shared session, but siteLessonsIgnoreManifest() treats every non-Google, non-course-mounted /lessons request as a site visit. Lessons::get() then falls back to $CFG->lessons, which can show the wrong lessons or fail when that file is absent. Preserve the file-backed site behavior, but distinguish an active LMS launch from a site visit with a leftover Plus session.

Release the PHP session lock before the post-response sync runs.
PlusShell::opened() schedules RosterSync::sync() in a shutdown callback before returning the course redirect. fastcgi_finish_request() flushes the response but does not close the PHP session. With a locking session handler, the follow-up request can wait while the sync performs database writes and NRPS calls.
