Status: Early research and design. No software release is available from this repository.
DeVISU is being developed for operational views: boards, status displays and similar shared representations used to understand current work.
An operational view can look current while drawing on stale, incomplete or disputed information. DeVISU focuses on the view itself: where its information came from, how old it is, who owns the next action and whether the view has been reviewed or replaced.
- Defining a small first operational-view workflow
- Refining the project scope and terminology
- Studying source authority, freshness, ownership and review state
- Examining continuity between physical boards and digital views
- Preparing a bounded implementation for later publication
DeVISU and ConSERVA are separate projects.
DeVISU addresses operational-view definitions, freshness, source authority, action routing and review state. ConSERVA addresses broader preservation, provenance, collection management, migration and relationships among records and evidence.
The projects may exchange information later, but neither project should absorb the other's role.
