I am an independent researcher and systems designer with professional experience in aerospace quality, nondestructive testing, electronics, manufacturing, corporate facilities, industrial maintenance, safety and operations.
My work is concerned with environments where reliable records, technical judgment, equipment condition and organizational continuity must remain connected. Experience in aerospace inspection, maintenance, facilities and engineering operations has shaped my interest in how organizations preserve evidence, decisions and practical knowledge over time.
I publish and develop online as SpaceGeek, a name reflecting my longstanding interest in space science, aerospace engineering and exploration.
My current research includes:
- Provenance, evidence and decision history
- Digital preservation and records continuity
- Operational knowledge retention
- Technical terminology and semantic relationships
- Maintenance, incident and inspection records
- Operational interfaces and changing system state
- Explainable information retrieval
- Responsible evaluation of artificial intelligence and language-model systems
- Standards, assurance and practical adoption boundaries
ConSERVA is a research and software project concerned with provenance, preservation and the relationships among records, objects, observations, evidence and decisions.
The project investigates how information systems can preserve context as records evolve, conclusions change and new evidence becomes available.
Current public status: Research and documentation phase. The project implementation is not yet published.
DeVISU is an operational-view stewardship project concerned with how interfaces represent changing systems, evidence, uncertainty and responsibility.
The project investigates how an operational view can remain understandable, traceable and current without hiding the limitations or history of the information it presents.
Current public status: Research and documentation phase. The project implementation is not yet published.
My background includes aerospace quality and employer-specific nondestructive-testing qualifications in magnetic particle, eddy current, ultrasonic and visual inspection. It also includes electronics, automated material handling, manufacturing, facilities management, industrial maintenance, safety and engineering operations.
I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business and continuing my professional development in quality, facilities, operations and applied research.
This account hosts public project documentation, technical analysis, research notes and documented design work.
Software implementations will be published when they reach an appropriate qualification and release stage. Private research registers, internal development records and unpublished implementation material are not part of the public repositories.
Substantial reports and stable public releases may also be archived through services that issue persistent identifiers and linked to my ORCID record.
