## What you'll need to connect
- A Screenpipe account with Data Sync available and enabled. See [current pricing](https://screenpipe.com/pricing).
- Complete Screenpipe's OAuth sign-in in your MCP client.

Only records already synced to your account are searchable. Connecting does not enable Data Sync or start uploading recordings. The connector does not expose local-only recordings, desktop control, or enterprise team records. Requested results are sent to your connected AI provider.
