An `env` value is a string or a map with only `valueFrom`. Unlike `envRaw`, a list that replaces as a whole, `env` merges per key, so one layered values file, or a chart that depends on this one, can turn a default literal into a Secret reference without touching other entries.

Document nested selector merging.

Helm also merges maps inside valueFrom. If a base file sets secretKeyRef and an override sets configMapKeyRef, both remain and Kubernetes rejects the Deployment. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Document that the override must clear the old selector, for example with secretKeyRef: null.

Review comment at @charts/netbird/docs/configuration.md at line 133:
Update the `env` documentation to explain that Helm merges nested `valueFrom`
maps, so switching between `secretKeyRef` and `configMapKeyRef` requires
explicitly clearing the previous selector with `null`. Clarify that leaving both
selectors results in an invalid Kubernetes Deployment.

`envFromSecret` references use `secret-name/secret-key` syntax. Provider examples use this mechanism for identity-provider, STUN, TURN, and database credentials.

For the dashboard, `dashboard.env` overrides environment values generated from `dashboard.config`. Prefer `dashboard.config` for supported fields.

Reject a null valueFrom.

env.FOO.valueFrom: null passes this check. Kubernetes accepts it as an empty environment value, so a dashboard credential can silently become empty instead of coming from a Secret. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Require valueFrom to be a non-empty object. Based on learnings: prefer JSON Schema over template-level fail validation.

Review comment at @charts/netbird/templates/_helpers.tpl at line 143:
Update the JSON Schema validation for environment entries governed by this
`valueFrom` check to require `valueFrom` to be a non-empty object, rejecting
null and empty values without adding template-level `fail` validation.
