Canary for the move of ubuntu-latest to Ubuntu 26.04 (rollout 2026-10-19 to 2026-11-19, actions/runner-images#14748): every ubuntu-latest in the workflows reads ubuntu-26.04 here, so this pull request's checks are the repository's CI on the new image.

Not to be merged. What fails here is fixed on main in its own pull request; this one is closed afterwards. Explicit pins (ubuntu-24.04, ubuntu-24.04-arm) are unchanged, as GitHub leaves them. Jobs that run only on tags or schedules (release builds, wheels) are not exercised by a pull request.

Every ubuntu-latest in the workflows reads ubuntu-26.04, to run this repository's CI on the image ubuntu-latest moves to from 2026-10-19. A canary: not to be merged.

Footnotes

  1. 5 benchmarks were skipped, so the baseline results were used instead. If they were deleted from the codebase, click here and archive them to remove them from the performance reports. ↩

  2. No successful run was found on main (2c3e39d) during the generation of this report, so 9cb18b3 was used instead as the comparison base. There might be some changes unrelated to this pull request in this report. ↩
