Bachelor's thesis carried out under the supervision of PhD Javier de Lucas Araujo (Department of Mathematical Methods in Physics, University of Warsaw).
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to discuss the geometry of supermanifolds and to present several applications of supergeometrical methods in physics. Mathematical aspects of supergeometry have been carefully introduced along with many examples coming from supermechanics, including superharmonic oscillators and nonrelativistic classical particles with spin. The most relevant literature on the treated subjects has been detailed. The work is addressed to third year bachelor's physics students attending the individual physics degree or graduate physics students interested in the mathematical foundations of supersymmetry.
