Redmine Vote extends Redmine's native issue reactions with prioritization filters and sorting.
- Uses the reaction feature built into Redmine 6.1 and later.
- Adds a sortable Reactions column to issue lists.
- Adds a numeric Reactions filter (
=,>=,<=, range, any, or none). - Adds a Reacted by filter, including a me shortcut.
- Counts reactions on issues only; reactions on issue notes are excluded.
- Uses Redmine's reaction-user visibility rules for counts displayed in lists.
- English and Russian translations are included.
Redmine 6.1.0 and later.

Copy this directory to
REDMINE_ROOT/plugins/redmine_vote. -
From
REDMINE_ROOT, run:bundle exec rake redmine:plugins:migrate RAILS_ENV=production -
Restart Redmine.
-
In Administration → Settings, ensure native reactions are enabled.
To roll back the plugin migrations, run:
bundle exec rake redmine:plugins:migrate NAME=redmine_vote VERSION=0 RAILS_ENV=productionThis does not delete Redmine's native reactions.
Use Redmine's native reaction button on an issue. To prioritize an issue list, open Options, add the Reactions column, apply the query, and click the column heading to sort it. Saved custom queries retain this sort.
The Reactions filter supports numeric comparisons. Reacted by filters issues by a particular user or the current user.
Run the plugin migrations. Version 2.0 migrates every existing plugin vote to a native issue reaction, skips duplicates, and removes the obsolete redmine_votes table. Back up the database before upgrading.
