Trakshan Mishra

GenAI engineer in Noida, India. I build retrieval tooling for code LLMs, and I fix bugs in open-source LLM infrastructure and data tools.

Merged upstream

Project PR What it does
facebook/astryx #5681 useFocusTrap restored focus on dismiss even when focus never entered the trap, which left Typeahead inputs stuck closed. It now restores only if focus actually entered.
comet-ml/opik #7981 A return inside finally in the Anthropic stream patchers swallowed exceptions, so failing untracked streams ended silently.
Lamatic/AgentKit #369 New kit: Impact Radius Reviewer. Turns DiffContext output plus a PR diff into a reviewer brief: what will break, test coverage, blind spots.
punkpeye/awesome-mcp-servers #12725 List entry for DiffContext's MCP server.

In review

  • comet-ml/opik #8064: persist ScoreResult.metadata with feedback scores across the Python SDK, Java backend (ClickHouse migration) and TypeScript SDK. Being narrowed after maintainer review.
  • kubeflow/mcp-server #292: upgrade to FastMCP 4 and MCP SDK v2 for the 2026-07-28 MCP spec, following the plan agreed with maintainers in #225. SSE is deprecated for one release instead of removed.
  • bitcoindevkit/bdk_wallet #565: finalize_psbt panicked on overflow when an unconfirmed input had an unused older(n) branch. Unreachable relative locktimes are now treated as unsatisfied.
  • apache/superset #44773: legacy charts with an adhoc granularity_sqla crashed with unhashable type: 'dict'. Matches the column by its SQL expression instead.
  • enactic/openarm_dataset #75: reject non-finite and zero-norm pose quaternions in the dataset validator.
  • BerriAI/litellm #38212: MiniMax responses returned empty content when the whole answer sat inside <think>.

PostgreSQL patch reviews

Registered CommitFest reviewer (trakshanm). Reviews are posted on pgsql-hackers and pgsql-bugs.

  • #6825 Segfault from re-entrancy in ri_triggers.c. The author posted v4 after my review; now Ready for Committer.
  • #7296 Assertion failure in tuplesort_begin_heap() from a parallel plan with a sort. Reproduced on master and 17–19; v3 fixes all four. Needs review.
  • #7345 Clear FatalError earlier during crash restart. Needs review.

Projects

DiffContext · PyPI Given a Python repo and a change, it selects the callers, overriding subclasses and tests the model needs, and packs them into a token budget. Static analysis (AST, call graph) plus BM25, zero runtime dependencies, MCP server included. Evaluated on 701 real commits across 9 repos using git co-change as ground truth: at matched token budgets, recall is 0.576 against grep's 0.215. Precision is low (under 0.1 at the default top-k), and the README says so. diffcontext verify runs the same evaluation on your repo and prints NULL RESULT when the tool doesn't help.

LLM observability SDK audit While instrumenting DiffContext, I checked a tracing SDK's output against a local OTLP receiver that decodes the exported protobuf. Five findings, with reproducer scripts and a separate script that confirms the behaviours that work correctly.
