The editable implementation and primary tests live in device-drivers #9. #10 added the FTW host API artifact regression and #11 released version 1.0.2. This PR keeps only FTW's offline recovery asset and host checks. It supersedes #617 without creating a second editable source.
The live SlimmeLezer+ evidence remains recorded in #613.
