Project name: AI Agent for QGIS (by TerraLab)

Project website/repository: https://github.com/TerraLabAI/QGIS_AI-Agent

License: GPL-2.0-or-later (plugin code)

Submission type: New Software Project

I know this is a geoscience list and QGIS is already in Platforms. The plugin is useful for subsurface and geoscience maps built from open data, and the entry sits next to the other Geospatial tools. Happy to close this if it is out of scope.

Checklist for all pull requests:

  • The project is open-source and accessible (see the note on the hosted AI service below).
  • Searched the existing entries to make sure this is not a duplicate.
  • Contains only a single addition.
  • Added the link to the bottom of the relevant category.
  • Created a new category only if necessary (none created).
  • Checked spelling and grammar.
  • Removed trailing whitespace and periods.
  • Confirm the dash is not a minus.
  • Used title-casing for the project name.

Checklist for new software projects:

  • Link the code repository rather than the website/documentation
  • Installation instructions present
  • Documentation looks great
  • Examples or Tutorials to follow
  • Tests and Travis CI running

Details

Disclosure: I am a co-founder of TerraLab, the maker of AI Agent.

What it is: a QGIS plugin. You describe a GIS task in plain English and it finds open data, runs the QGIS Processing tools, builds and styles the map in the open project, and one click undoes its changes.

To be clear about the model: the plugin code is open source, and the AI runs on TerraLab's hosted service, which is not open source (no offline mode). There is a free tier (5 tasks per month) and a paid plan for heavier use.

I checked that the entry is not already listed and follows the list format. Happy to change the wording or the section.
