I’d like to take this on from a QA/testing perspective.

    Here’s how I’d approach it:

    AShell (F-Droid)

    • Description: A lightweight ADB shell interface for Android that allows execution of shell commands directly on-device without needing a PC. Useful for debugging, inspecting app state, and running low-level test commands.

    Activity Manager (F-Droid)

    • Description: A tool for managing and inspecting Android activities, services, and processes. Helps simulate app lifecycle events, test background behavior, and validate activity transitions.

Why these apps are useful (QA perspective)

    • Enable on-device debugging without full dev setup (faster triage during testing)
    • Help validate app lifecycle behavior (foreground/background, kills, restarts)
    • Support integration and E2E testing workflows by simulating real user/system actions
    • Useful for reproducing edge cases (process death, task switching, permission states)

If this aligns, I can extend this into a small QA utilities doc and include example test scenarios using these tools.

Please do, that'd be immensely helpful
