Thanks for contributing. Typically I'd be inclined to turn something like this down, but since it's not touching the UI, I'm ok with it. Is this still a work in progress? I noticed there's an AI investigation markdown left in.

I think I'll hold off on merging this for now and close it since it looks like an unintentional pull request without the description and with the markdown left in..

Thanks for the clarification, and sorry for the confusion.

The pull request was intentional, but I left an internal investigation
Markdown file in the branch and did not provide a proper description.

The implementation itself was complete, but since I am now continuing the
work in a separate private fork, it is fine to leave this pull request closed.
