Share the key registration, boot and state-recording path so a second command can build a VM without duplicating it.
Archive $HOME from the guest, delete the instance, create it again from the current template and extract the archive back, so a template or provisioning change costs no dotfiles, gh or claude credentials. The dotfiles repo comes from the state file rather than a flag, and the VM size defaults to the instance's current size. Files provisioning owns (the ssh key and config, Lima's authorized_keys) stay out of the archive, along with ~/.cache and the rootless docker data.
