| # Venture and Beyond — First Brand System Implementation | ||
| **Working ID:** `rip-draft-venture-and-beyond-2026-08-28` | ||
| ## Project submitted by | ||
| Louchi, Brand Steward, with Deekan / Duckanbro providing development support. | ||
| ## Summary | ||
| Venture and Beyond is the first implementation campaign in RaidGuild’s ongoing brand and website evolution. It combines visual design, narrative, UX/UI, imagery, frontend implementation, and reusable brand-system tooling. | ||
| This proposal would: | ||
| 1. Adopt Venture and Beyond as the first canonical implementation of RaidGuild’s evolving brand direction. | ||
| 2. Authorize $1,000 in compensation, split $500 to Louchi and $500 to Deekan / Duckanbro, if the related DAO proposal passes. | ||
| The work is substantially underway but is not yet complete or adopted. | ||
| ## Motivation and limits of the rationale | ||
| RaidGuild is preparing for a new cycle and wants to renew attention around the guild as a builder collective with distinct “tip of the spear” offerings. A systematized brand foundation is intended to represent those offerings consistently while remaining adaptable: | ||
| - The Brand Guide documents shared direction and constraints. | ||
| - Storybook exposes reusable design primitives and components. | ||
| - The Venture and Beyond webpage demonstrates the system in practice. | ||
| - The direction may later propagate through the Portal and Handbook. | ||
| The Brand Steward supports the rebrand and has final responsibility for brand direction under the stewardship model relied on by this proposal. That judgment is the basis for proceeding; it is not proof that the current brand caused weak acquisition, and it does not establish unanimous community agreement. Related narrative and design-process discussions remain exploratory context rather than settled consensus. | ||
| ## Baseline and measurement | ||
| The June 3–September 3, 2026 analytics report records 2,160 visitors, 3,298 page views, an 84% bounce rate, and 424 visitors clicking a CTA. The Hire funnel recorded 572 form views, six step completions, three submit attempts, and three successful submissions. The measured visitor-to-successful-submission baseline is 0.14%, approximately one submission per 720 visitors. | ||
| These figures have known instrumentation caveats: seven visitors generated Submit Error events while only three generated Submit Attempt events, and the low Step Completed count may indicate incomplete tracking. A separate prior-year review found 39 apparent intake notifications and 13 plausible inquiries, but did not establish that they were organic website conversions, qualified leads, paid work, or attributable revenue. | ||
| The proposal requires: | ||
| - Validation or correction of Hire Form analytics events. | ||
| - Preservation of the baseline and its limitations. | ||
| - Comparison reports six and twelve months after production adoption. | ||
| - Reporting of visitors, CTA engagement, funnel conversion, submissions, qualified leads, paid engagements, and attributable RaidGuild revenue where supportable. | ||
| - Separation of organic website acquisition from referrals, internal tests, duplicates, and existing-relationship opportunities. | ||
| The Keeper of Knowledge Steward is responsible for analytics validation and reporting. Launch is scheduled for October 1, 2026. The initial performance window is October 1–December 31, 2026. Success for the potential future bonus condition means visitor-to-successful-submission conversion exceeds 0.14%, as verified by the Keeper of Knowledge Steward. | ||
| ## Minimum implementation deliverables | ||
| - A usable RaidGuild Storybook. | ||
| - A documented brand system and Brand Guide. | ||
| - The Venture and Beyond webpage. | ||
| Portal and Handbook propagation are adoption targets, not minimum completion requirements. | ||
| ## Ownership and maintenance | ||
| Louchi will maintain the brand direction and assets, with development maintenance support from Deekan / Duckanbro. Tae contributed lore, concept ideation, and imagery; that work is credited as project lineage but is outside this compensation request. Other contributions may use CookieJar separately. | ||
| ## Adoption and funding | ||
| Passing the related DAO proposal would authorize the $1,000 payment and adoption of this work as the first canonical implementation. It would not automatically approve future changes to shared brand elements. | ||
| The $1,000 covers the initial website, Storybook, and Brand Guide implementation; it is not presented as full compensation for redesigning every RaidGuild surface. Forum and GitHub feedback argues that broader rollout would be materially underpriced at this amount. Compensation for later propagation remains outside this proposal. | ||
| A separate future DAO proposal may request a $5,000 performance bonus if the measured visitor-to-successful-submission rate exceeds 0.14% during October 1–December 31, 2026. The future proposal would determine the split and execution. This proposal does not authorize that bonus. | ||

Line 18 states that the work is incomplete, but Lines 61–63 make DAO passage alone sufficient to authorize payment and canonical adoption. The proposal does not define acceptance evidence, an approver, a completion date, or a partial-payment rule for the minimum deliverables. Add these gates, identify the related DAO proposal, and include the accessibility and asset-license checks raised in Lines 74–75. 🤖 Prompt for AI Agents |

| ## Open questions and preserved dissent | ||
| - Is the Brand Steward’s mandate sufficient authority for canonical adoption, or is another community approval standard needed? | ||
| - The formal GitHub feedback questions whether the rationale proves that a full overhaul is preferable to adapting the current brand. | ||
| - Which outcomes besides conversion should define success? | ||
| - Are the minimum deliverables clear and verifiable? | ||
| - Which elements should remain stable and which experimental? | ||
| - What accessibility review and asset-license documentation should precede adoption? | ||
| - Who owns hosting, deployment, Portal integration, and Handbook integration? | ||
| - What review process should govern future shared-brand changes? | ||
| - The formal feedback considers broad rollout materially underpriced; this draft limits the funded scope but does not resolve that concern. | ||

| Payment is contingent on passage of the related DAO proposal. USDC is preferred. If sufficient USDC is unavailable when the proposal package is prepared, an exact reviewed ETH or WETH amount may be used with a timestamped quote. | ||

The recipient addresses and the USDC/ETH/WETH fallback do not identify a chain, chain ID, or token contract. The same address can exist on multiple EVM networks, and USDC and WETH are network-specific. Add the chain, token contract, quote source, quote timestamp, amount precision, and WETH handling before payment is authorized. 🤖 Prompt for AI Agents |

Define the production adoption event.
The proposal schedules launch for October 1, 2026, but Lines 99–103 identify only review environments and Line 75 leaves hosting and deployment ownership open. Define the production URL, deployment owner, and adoption timestamp before using October 1, 2026 to start the reporting and bonus windows.
