Split off of #89
From @dhruv-ahuja
Would it make sense to add a section to the Community repo and maybe the website /community page, that describes latest community updates? This could be a good middle-ground between publishing blog posts, and keep folks that are keen on following community updates, in loop.
To add more context to my proposal, I was thinking of a section that includes brief updates linked to the original announcements, such as opentelemetry.io blog links, docs, and even GitHub issues — if such a discussion is deemed worthy of mention, with scope for always adjusting the "verbosity" based on user feedback and internal feedback loops.
E.g., when the post-graduation roadmap is finalized and merged:
Latest Community Updates
The post-graduation roadmap has been finalized open-telemetry/community#3452
