Adds Dot, an AI data analyst by getdot.ai. Users ask data questions in plain English; Dot finds the tables, writes and runs SQL on their warehouse and returns the answer, data and SQL, applying their Dot permissions.

  • Endpoint: streamable HTTP at https://app.getdot.ai/ai/mcp (US) or https://eu.getdot.ai/ai/mcp (EU), picked with a region option in urlTemplate.
  • Auth: a Dot MCP token in the X-API-KEY header (in Dot: Profile > Use Dot elsewhere > MCP > Generate token). Dot's OAuth only accepts the redirect URIs of a few named clients, so the entry uses the token.
  • Docs: https://docs.getdot.ai/developers/mcp

This targets v2-schema, the branch Obot v0.26.3 reads. obot mcp validate-catalog-yaml --require-entry-key . (v0.26.3) reports all 209 files valid, and git diff --check is clean.

Disclosure: I'm one of Dot's co-founders.

Dot (getdot.ai) is an AI data analyst: ask a data question in plain
English and it finds the tables, writes and runs SQL on your warehouse
and returns the answer, data and SQL.

The entry offers the US and EU endpoints through a region option and
authenticates with a Dot MCP token in the X-API-KEY header, because
Dot's OAuth only accepts the redirect URIs of a few named clients.

Dot now creates MCP tokens under Profile > Use Dot elsewhere > MCP.
