🟡 Minor · Update the relay Secret description. · README.md:144
charts/netbird/README.md:144
🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick winUpdate the relay Secret description.
With separate component namespaces, management uses its own credential source, not the relay-credentials Secret. The current bullet tells operators that one chart-managed Secret serves both workloads. Update it to describe the management-local copy and the external-reference case.

Clarify that the Secret must exist in the namespace selected by the first

changing namespaces in the split management PVC template. Enforce a migration

installation’s management PVC would remain in the old namespace; do not treat
the PVC’s keep annotation as data migration.

Limit details: You’ve used all 5 included reviews currently available.
- dashboard and backend.split.<component> get enabled (default true) and namespace (default global.namespace, then release namespace). Disabled components render nothing and skip their validation. - Management stores its own copy of the relay auth secret, so it does not read the relay Secret across namespaces. - ServiceMonitors follow enabled and select the component namespace.

🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Add the namespace and Secret setup for this example.
If a reader follows the installation commands with this relay-only example, netbird-edge is not created and the referenced Secret remains in netbird. Helm’s --create-namespace creates only the release namespace. State that the reader must create netbird-edge and put netbird-external-credentials there before installation. (docs.helm.sh)

Stacked on #61. Removes the need for platform-repo workaround 5 (render the whole chart per component and filter on the component label).
Change
dashboard.enabled/namespaceandbackend.split.<management|signal|relay>.enabled/namespace. Disabled components render no objects and skip their validation.namespacefalls back toglobal.namespace, then the release namespace.relay-auth-secretfrom the relay Secret. A Pod cannot read a Secret in another namespace, so management now stores its own copy in<fullname>-management-credentials. WithauthSecretRefand different namespaces, the referenced Secret must exist in both (documented).enabledand select the component namespace.tests/render.sh: relay-only render in a separate namespace, management relay secret copy.Summary by CodeRabbit
