Catastrophic Events

A RuneLite plugin made for the Catastrophic OSRS clan. It brings clan events into the game client so you don't have to keep tabs on Discord for them.

What it does

  • Browse upcoming clan events in a side panel — see everything coming up, or just switch to the events you've already joined

  • Sign up with one click right from the panel

  • Get private reminders before events you've joined start (3 hours, 1 hour, and 5 minutes out) — off by default, turn it on in settings

  • Jump to Discord for any event with a deep-link button

  • Optional Discord sharing — if you turn these on, the plugin can post to the clan Discord for you:

    • Big loot drops
    • Deaths (with a screenshot, and you can set a custom death message)
    • Skill and quest achievements (99s, XP milestones, quest completions, fire cape, etc.)
    • Pet drops

All of these are off by default — nothing is shared unless you turn it on yourself. Clan coffer deposit/withdrawal announcements are the one exception and are always posted, since that's clan business rather than personal activity.

Who this is for

This plugin only works for members of the Catastrophic clan — it talks to our own clan bot, not a public service. You'll need to be in the clan's Discord server to get set up.

Getting started

  1. Install Catastrophic Events from the RuneLite Plugin Hub.
  2. In the clan Discord, run /link-plugin to get your personal plugin token.
  3. Open the plugin's panel in RuneLite, click the gear icon, and paste in your token.
  4. That's it — your events will show up in the panel.

Questions or issues

Ask in the clan Discord.
