fix: modernise UserLogin, BackendLogin, Alert and Info to match new vault UI - #326

WalkthroughThe change introduces a shared icon library and a complete responsive vault UI. Login, navigation, tree, group, entry, and protected-field components now use the new styling and interaction model. The backend adds database creation, entry and group mutations, encrypted save handling, and authenticated mutation routes. OIDC discovery now retrieves JWKS data and rewrites server endpoint origins. E2E tests use semantic selectors and test IDs. Merge Risk: 🟠 High · up to Although the PR modernizes the login and vault UI, the current changes can lose concurrent vault edits, erase existing entry notes, and break file downloads; users may also encounter incorrect Sync behavior and inaccessible controls. These concrete correctness and data-loss risks should be fixed before merging. 🚥 Pre-merge checks | ✅ 3 | ❌ 2❌ Failed checks (2 warnings)

…roup CRUD Closes lixmal#320, closes lixmal#322. A provider behind Docker publishes one set of endpoint URLs regardless of who is asking, so an app container that resolves the provider by its compose name cannot use the document it just fetched: Keycloak answers with its external hostname even when the metadata is read over the internal one. The endpoints the app calls itself (token, jwks, userinfo, and the introspection, revocation and device authorization ones) are now pointed back at the host the document came from, while the endpoints the browser is redirected to keep the external host. The issuer is left alone, so the check that the document names the configured issuer still decides what tokens are trusted against. Fetching the document by hand also left the JWKS empty, because openidconnect marks that field #[serde(skip)] and only discover_async fills it in. Every token would have failed to verify on the discovery_url path; the keys are now fetched separately from the rewritten jwks_uri and injected. Databases: a configured .kdbx that does not exist is created as an empty KDBX4 database on first unlock rather than failing. Entries and groups can be created, edited and deleted over POST/PUT/DELETE /api/v1/entry and POST/PUT /api/v1/group, with a modify_db() helper doing the decrypt, modify, re-encrypt and key rotation in one place, and POST /api/v1/save_db writing the result to disk. A non-root group holds at most two subgroups and answers 422 past that; the root group stays unlimited. The group heading and the entry rows grew actions, so the end-to-end suite no longer finds the group title by reading the whole heading or the entry fields by counting cells. The title and the two content cells carry test hooks and the specs use those.
Closes lixmal#323. Replaces the Bootstrap grid in the vault with a purpose-built three-panel layout: a group tree in the sidebar, entry cards in the centre, and a detail panel that doubles as the create/edit form. The sidebar collapses to a slide-in drawer below 700px and the detail panel slides up from the bottom below 900px. Bootstrap is no longer used inside the vault; the login pages are untouched. The styling lives in js/style/vault.css behind --kp-* custom properties, so the whole vault can be rethemed from one place. A light and a dark theme ship with it, toggled from the navbar and remembered in localStorage. The entry form gets an icon picker over the 69 standard KeePass icons, and the chosen icon is stored in the database: create_entry and update_entry take an optional icon id. Opening a second entry used to leave the first entry's revealed password on screen, because the detail panel kept the reveal state across the entry it was showing. The reveal state, its auto-hide timers and the copy confirmation are now cleared whenever the panel switches entry. The end-to-end suite addressed the vault through its Bootstrap classes, which this redesign removes. The markup now carries data-testid hooks and the specs use those instead, so the suite describes behaviour rather than styling and survives the next round of design work. Protected fields expose their reveal state as data-revealed, which is what the reveal/hide specs assert on now.
…ault UI The vault redesign left the login pages on the old Bootstrap styling, so the first thing a user saw did not match the application behind it. UserLogin and BackendLogin now use the same card, field and button treatment as the master password form, and follow the light and dark theme with it. Alert and Info drop the Bootstrap alert markup for kp-login-alert, and carry role="alert" and role="status" so the message reaches assistive technology and the end-to-end suite can address it without a class of its own. The navbar treated /user_login as part of the vault and offered the vault actions on it; it is now recognised as a login route like the other two.

Ran this locally against a copy of the test database and pushed one commit for two things that only show up when the write path is exercised.
Round trip through the browser afterwards: create an entry, pick an icon, save, re-enter the master password. One thing worth a follow-up rather than a change here: the written file makes KeePassXC log |

Clear the stored key when the file selection becomes empty.
handleFile returns early when no file is present. The label still shows the previous file name and the hidden key field still holds the previous base64 content. The form then submits a key that the user believes was removed.

generatePassword has modulo bias.
charset.length is 88, and 256 is not a multiple of 88. Bytes 0..79 map to the first 80 characters more often than the rest, so generated passwords are not uniform. Discard out-of-range bytes instead.

onGroupSelect reads this.state.tree before the tree state commits.
In componentDidMount the success callback calls setState({ tree }) and then onGroupSelect(...) in the same batch. findGroupDepth at line 61 still reads the previous tree ({}), so it returns -1 and groupDepth falls back to 0. GroupViewer then computes canAddGroup from depth 0 and offers "Add Group" for a restored group that is already at the depth limit.

Do not log vault group titles.
Group titles are user vault metadata. These info! records persist them outside the encrypted database.

🗄️ Data Integrity & Integration | 🟠 Major | 🏗️ Heavy lift
Serialize each database session across mutations and saves.
DbCache::retrieve returns a cloned snapshot before modify_db mutates it. Two requests can mutate the same snapshot and both return success, while the later cache write discards the earlier edit. save_db can also persist a stale snapshot while a mutation updates the cache.
src/server/route/util.rs#L176-L208: Serialize the complete read, mutate, encrypt, key-replace, and cache-store operation per session.src/server/route/auth.rs#L335-L357: Use the same per-session guard while reading and writing the backend snapshot.

In `@src/server/route/util.rs` around lines 176 - 208, Serialize all database
operations per session using a shared per-session guard: in
src/server/route/util.rs lines 176-208, guard the complete get_db, modify,
encryption, key replacement, and cache-store sequence; in
src/server/route/auth.rs lines 335-357, use the same guard around reading and
writing the backend snapshot in save_db. Ensure concurrent mutations and saves
for one session cannot interleave or overwrite newer state.
Closes #325
Follows up #324 (UI redesign).
What was missed
PR #324 rewrote all vault-view components to use the new
kp-*CSS design system, but three login-flow components still used Bootstrap-only markup, causing a visual inconsistency for htpasswd and LDAP backends.Changes

Verified build succeeds and all new CSS classes appear in the bundle. All three auth backends (OIDC, htpasswd, LDAP) route through
DBLoginfor the KeePass master password step — that page was already modernised in #324 and is unaffected here.Summary by CodeRabbit
