• Working on “software” only by this point. Includes digital audio and visual design, Arduino, TD, etc.
• Fully working proof of concept for the whole experience
• All visuals should be rendered and put onto computers and projection mapped, etc.
• Hardware should be in reliable state
• Get all audio recorded

For the last point here, I’ve been trying to think through how the sound will work without a dedicated ableton install on the Mac. One solution would be for the midi signals to be received into touch designer and used to trigger samples that are pre recorded. Can use multiple variations chosen randomly to give variation. Can also do sidechain ducking of an ambient bed of sound directly in TD. How does that sound @headunderheels? This would mean you send the background elements in an audio file or multiple and then the various trigger sounds as separate samples and we work together to figure out the interplay between them in TD. This might be a good way to save a lot of money on software licenses…

This will also require rendering transitional elements between the different scenes and designing the sounds to go with it.
