brandpilot

Autonomous AI agent that brands activate once. It continuously monitors social signals, distills production decisions, and executes the commerce loop via a policy-constrained OWS wallet.

background

In today's fast-moving e-commerce landscape, the gap between a trend going viral on social media and a product hitting the shelves is where most revenue is lost. Brandpilot transforms this manual process into a fully autonomous workflow.

By continuously scraping social signals, mapping them to existing catalog "gaps," and automatically generating production-ready pre-orders in Shopify, Brandpilot allows fashion and consumer brands to "pilot" their product strategy with minimal human intervention. Every agent action is cryptographically secured and policy-constrained by the Open Wallet Standard, ensuring that while the agent is autonomous, the brand retains absolute control over its capital.

Architecture

brandpilot
├── Loop 1 — Trend Intelligence (every 6-12h)
│ └── Scrapes IG/TikTok via Firecrawl (x402) → LLM extracts trend signals
├── Loop 2 — Decision Engine (triggered after Loop 1)
│ └── Diffs Shopify catalog vs trends → generates mockups → creates pre-orders
└── Loop 3 — Commerce Execution (event-driven)
└── Monitors waitlists → supplier orders via OWS policy-gated payments

Quick Start

# 1. Clone and enter project
cd backend

# 2. Create virtualenv and install
python -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
pip install -e ".[dev]"

# 3. Copy environment config
cp ../.env.example ../.env
# Edit .env with your API keys and Neon connection string

# 4. Run the server
uvicorn app.main:app --reload

API Endpoints

Method Path Description
POST /api/brands Onboard a brand (creates OWS wallet + policy)
GET /api/brands/{id} Get brand details
GET /api/trends/{id} Get trend signals
POST /api/trends/{id}/trigger Force trend scrape
GET /api/decisions/{id} Get gap/dud/winner decisions
GET /api/mockups/{id} Get generated mockups
GET /api/pnl/{id} Get P&L dashboard
GET /api/approvals/{id} Get pending approvals
POST /api/approvals/{id}/approve Approve supplier order
POST /api/approvals/{id}/reject Reject supplier order

OWS Trust Layer

The agent operates inside a policy-constrained wallet:

  • Vendor allowlist — only approved x402 endpoints
  • Per-category budgets — scraping, mockups, supplier orders
  • Auto-approve ceiling — orders above threshold require brand co-sign
  • Daily spend cap — hard limit on total agent spend

Hackathon: Open Wallet Standard

Built for the OWS hackathon — demonstrating how autonomous agents can operate within cryptographic trust boundaries using the Open Wallet Standard.
