Matching TV episodes without any season or episode numbers

I have a directory has the Series name and the episode name, but i don't have any episode or season ordering numbers.

The file format looks like "Series - Episode Name.mp4"

Is there any way of getting mnamer to match against the text of the episode name? Thanks :)

Very unlikely! Perhaps you could script something to use the tvdb api and rename files that way

I had made the PR #321 to use tvdv Api V4, that would allow to determine the episode from its name, as it allows getting the full list of episodes of the serie. So i think you could add an option to handle the serie + episode to discover it.

Ah - I see. I am not the maintainer and just commented. It seems the maintainer is not very actively maintaining this software,
