OpenTI: Cognitive Operating System for Autonomous Agents

Build Status License Python

OpenTI is the foundational operating system and system-of-record for autonomous agents. It enables developers and institutions to deploy multi-agent AI workflows deterministically, with governance, auditability, and persistent cognition. OpenTI is designed to become the Linux/Kubernetes-level OS for autonomous AI.

Key Features

  • Deterministic Agent Orchestration
  • Persistent Cognitive Memory Graph (CMG)
  • Governance & Policy Enforcement
  • Replayable Audit Logs
  • SDK for multi-agent deployment
  • Open standard CMG for interoperability

Getting Started

Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/jibrilmohamedahmed/OpenTI.git
cd OpenTI

Explore SDK

  • sdk/openTI_sdk.md – Full SDK documentation
  • sdk/examples/ – Example scripts for multi-agent workflows and CMG usage

Cognitive Memory Graph Spec

  • cognitive_memory_graph/CMG_spec_v0.1.md – OpenTI CMG open standard

Reference Architecture

  • reference_architecture/OpenTI_Reference_Architecture.md – Architecture guide for developers and institutions

Quick Example: Agent Workflow

from sdk.agent_workflow import AgentOrchestrator

# Initialize orchestrator
orchestrator = AgentOrchestrator()

# Create agents
orchestrator.create_agent("research_agent")
orchestrator.create_agent("compliance_agent")

# Define workflow
orchestrator.define_workflow(["research_agent", "compliance_agent"], workflow_graph="sample_graph")

# Execute workflow
orchestrator.execute_workflow("sample_graph")
