Another useful feature of the ST Viewer is the possibility to control which
spots are visible or not and even change their color manually.
Note that the spots will only be shown if the "Show spots" box is checked in
the "Visualization settings". Otherwise only the shown genes (if any) will be shown.
To show spots you must use the "Spots" panel
The Spots panel will show all the spots present in the dataset.
The buttons () and () let you select and deselect all the spots.
The buttons () and () let you show and hide all the selected spots.
The button () let you change the color of the selected spots.
You may also select spots individually and use right click to show/hide or change the color of individual spots.
The search box let you search for spots by name.
The columns in the Spots panel have different meaning:
"Show" shows a tick if the spot is being shown
"Spot" shows the spot name
"#Count" shows the total number of reads of that spots in all the genes
"Color" shows the color of spot
You may sort the spots by any of the columns which can be very convenient, for instance
to see what spots are being shown or what spots have the highest expression or to show/hide
spots belonging to a specific cluster/group.
