This is a proposal for controlling the inlining policy. There's a global setting (default: as now) and a local override for maximum flexibility.
I'm having some problems to compile the tests—I guess it's a compiler-version problem, but ATM trying to use the +1.68 toolchain gives me HTTP errors.
