I have been using your SDR receiver for a while, its a pretty good receiver thats light on processing power, which runs nicely on my Rasberry Pi5.
I have meanwhile been going through various receivers for Linux, AM stereo decoding seems few and far in between, particularly out of the box lightweight decoders designed to be user friendly.
I am developing an AM stereo tuner which I have committed in my repository, which still needs some minor tweaks, but close to being ready for polish with a GUI for mainstream deployment, its designed to make AM a pleasurable listening experience while presenting a user friendly interface usually found on turnkey portable receivers in our daily life, which can tune the entire stretch between 100-30,000KHz, which partially is to enable listeners to hear my shortwave station in stereo without the technical bloat, it does two modes, stereo and mono AM with the most important feature existent in HiFi AM tuners, a selectable Notch filter to wipe out the ear piercing high pitched squeal of co channel interference.
I am willing to contribute to your GQRX project to add AM stereo as well, since I run a Shortwave Stereo transmission on 2355KHz, and 1611KHz, so I have everything here to be able to test my builds.
