Summary

  • The template's CSP provider sends Strict-Transport-Security: max-age=63072000; includeSubDomains; preload. preload is what makes a domain eligible for the browser preload lists, and getting off them is practically irreversible, so it shouldn't be something every new site inherits.
  • Now max-age=63072000; includeSubDomains, matching feat(security): close author archives and the users route, drop HSTS preload gds-security-hardening#7 (admin/login/REST) and the frontend header generoi/telma-lehti-new#78 already ships.
  • Template only. Existing sites keep their own copy of the provider.

Test plan

  • CI passes
  • A site scaffolded from the template: curl -sI on the frontend shows HSTS without preload

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Submitting a domain to the browser preload lists is practically
irreversible, so it should be a deliberate per-domain decision rather than
something every new site inherits. Matches generoi/gds-security-hardening#7
and the frontend header telma-lehti-new ships.
