hosts.rs: URL entries ignore --username/--password/--db, IPv6 labels and hints are malformed, a stray space aborts startup — plus two CLI numbers with no upper bound

MANUAL.md and CLAUDE.md: ten documented behaviours the code does not have — background FFT, plot auto-scale, the 10 ms drain budget and the SCAN MATCH filter among them

ci.yml and docker-publish.yml: back-to-back merges lose a version's `:<version>` image — cancel-in-progress kills main's CI, and the publish queue holds one pending run

execute_edit: SET discards the key's TTL, RENAME and New Key overwrite silently — every destructive write except `d` is unguarded

Three tests do not test what their names promise: the #84 mid-scan regression never scans, the bad-host count asserts on its own input, the CLI defaults read the real environment

status_message: last writer wins, so refresh_keys' host-unreachable, skipped-key and collision notes are overwritten before they are ever drawn

refresh_keys: selection preserved by index, not by key — rename, new key, DB switch and filter all move the highlight to an unrelated key

ui.rs plot and rate panes: warm-up hides live rates, sub-12x5 panes draw nothing, NaN becomes a zero spike, Y labels clip at 9 cells

RateTracker measures on the stream clock but prunes and charts on the wall clock — a stream 60s behind reads 0.0/s with the lagging label suppressed

handle_confirm_input/RenameKey: delete and rename never tear down a key's listener, generator or plot slot — the generator then recreates the deleted key

client_for_key: multi-host writes fall back to hosts[0] — New Key ignores the host on screen, and a cross-host rename shadows the key it just renamed

handle_mouse_event: wheel and drag act on panes not under the cursor — no chart hit-test on scroll, stale rects, and a hardcoded Y-label gutter

update_rate_tracker: gap detection fires on every flush of a batching producer and misses trim holes inside a coalesced drain — the threshold is a mean, and only the batch's first entry is checked
