Runs inside homing round 1 on the status read the round already makes, only when a magazine was present at the opening status word and the loader bit reads clear there; strict completion against load_completion_target() under LOAD_STATUS_MASK. Implements the vendor's conditional recovery seen in the 2026-10-31 capture (Test 112): when a magazine was present at the opening status word and the loader bit reads clear at homing round 1's pre-move status read, the LOAD traverse (mode 0x1c, 71 490 steps, strict completion against load_completion_target() under LOAD_STATUS_MASK, 30 s, fail-closed) runs before the jog.
Offline only; NOT hardware-verified. Every other cold start is byte-identical on the wire (golden op lists frozen from the old code, 226 ops each). SANE C++ port untouched (TODO in docs/sane-port.md). release_check FULL green (564 tests).
