What's the issue?

Selling counterfeit or non-genuine Bitaxe hardware

Evidence

Seller is selling modified hardware - ie Gamma 601 that is 12 volt with custom closed source firmware.

No source files for hardware and firmware.

@Tommyli2026 can you comment on this? As a reminder the bitaxe open source license requires you to publish the source for any changes to the hardware. Not doing this is illegal copyright infringement and is definitely grounds for removal from the LegitList.

We should give them some time to respond, but the published information suggest they are selling modified versions that are not open source. This would resolve in a removal of the legitlist

Thank you for your reminder. We fully respect the Bitaxe open-source license terms and community compliance rules.

We just finished the final work with a stable version. We are currently preparing the relevant files, and we will publish all required derivative source files to our public repository as soon as possible.

@awxhw This is just a pdf for the schematics, the CERN-OHL-S license requires you to also publish the files for reproducing your changes. You need to upload your KiCad files to stay compliant. This is not enough
