An interactive web application designed to help developers, data analysts, and students practice, test, and sharpen their SQL querying skills through practical challenges.
Practicing SQL often requires setting up a local database or navigating cluttered, overly theoretical test platforms. This project provides a lightweight, focused sandbox where users can run queries against a preloaded database, inspect schemas, and get progressive help if they get stuck.
- Concept & Inspiration: The core concept and initial challenge ideas were inspired by Karina Samsonova.
- Implementation: Built as a rapid, AI-assisted development experiment using Google AI Studio to scaffold, structure, and generate the core application logic and interface based on iterative prompting.
- 36 Curated Challenges: Divided into three progressive tiers: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
- Hints: Hints designed to guide learners toward the solution without immediately spoiling the final query.
- Database & Schema Previews: Instant visual previews of available tables and columns for seamless navigation.
- In-Browser Execution: Query directly against a local SQLite database with immediate result feedback.
- Database / Engine: SQLite
- AI Prototyping & Code Generation: Google AI Studio (Gemini models)
- Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
