Kiwi().analyze("짧은 문장", top_n=0)   # Segmentation fault (exit 139)

topN == 0이면 다른 인자 검사와 같은 방식으로 invalid_argument("topN should be > 0.")

  • Kiwi::analyze(const u16string&, size_t topN, ...): 모든 analyze 오버로드와 asyncAnalyze가 이 함수를 거칩니다.
  • reader 기반 analyze 템플릿(include/kiwi/Kiwi.h): C API의 kiwi_analyze_m/kiwi_analyze_mw가 쓰는 경로입니다.

test/test_cpp.cpp의 KiwiCpp.ZeroTopN에 두 경로의 테스트를 넣었고, 스레드풀이 있는 Kiwi에서 asyncAnalyze(예외가 future로 전달됨)와 reader 기반 analyze의 큐 분기도 확인합니다.

  • kiwipiepy 테스트(test_kiwipiepy.py, test_nogil_safety.py) 85개가 통과합니다.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Bug Fixes
    • Analysis requests with a top-N value of zero now fail immediately with an error instead of being queued.

Kiwi::analyze accepted topN == 0 and then crashed: kiwipiepy's
`Kiwi.analyze(text, top_n=0)` ends in a segmentation fault. No result can
be asked for with zero candidates, so it now throws invalid_argument, as
the other argument checks do. Every analyze overload and asyncAnalyze
reach this check.

The reader-based analyze, behind the C API's kiwi_analyze_m and
kiwi_analyze_mw, checks too, before it queues anything: its queued analyses read its local `config`,
so one that threw would leave the rest reading it after it is gone.

An empty or blank text with topN == 0 used to come back without a
crash; it now throws as well.

📝 Walkthrough

Kiwi::analyze now throws std::invalid_argument when top-N is zero. Tests cover synchronous string and callback calls, plus a pooled asynchronous call.

Changes: Top-N validation

Layer / File(s) Summary
Validate top-N before analysis
include/kiwi/Kiwi.h, src/Kiwi.cpp, test/test_cpp.cpp
The callback-based and string-input Kiwi::analyze overloads reject a top-N value of zero with std::invalid_argument. Tests cover both synchronous overloads and a pooled asynchronous call.

Cover the asyncAnalyze zero-topN path with a pooled fixture.

ZeroTopN covers synchronous analyze overloads only. The top-N asyncAnalyze overloads use a separate queue-and-future path, so a regression in async argument forwarding or future exception propagation would not be detected.

reuseKiwiInstance() disables async support with numThreads == 0. Use a pooled fixture for this assertion.

The existing assertions ran on a Kiwi without a thread pool, so neither
asyncAnalyze, whose error comes back through its future, nor the
reader-based analyze's queued branch, where the early check keeps queued
analyses from outliving `config`, was exercised.

Applied in 8c30fc7: ZeroTopN now also builds a Kiwi with one worker thread and checks asyncAnalyze(...).get() and the reader-based analyze, whose queued branch is what the early check in Kiwi.h protects. Syntax-checked only; the models are LFS pointers locally.

ZeroTopN에서 워커 스레드 1개짜리 Kiwi로 asyncAnalyze(...).get()과 reader 기반 analyze(Kiwi.h의 사전 검사가 보호하는 큐 분기)도 확인합니다.

Keep only why the check must come before anything is queued.
