Cura crashes after waking from suspend

Reproduction steps

On my Dell 7620 using Ubuntu 24.04 in a Wayland env, after waking from suspend and then performing an operation (file, view or slicing change) Cura just crashes with no errors displayed or warnings. It doesn't matter if a model is loaded or not. Also used an AI resource to narrow the problem and the result was a Cura/Qt6 issue but no suggestions as what the fix is.

Cura 5.14's Qt update may improve the behavior (upcoming release).

However, we cannot guarantee that the application will remain fully functional after being suspended and resumed. The operating system may not restore all drivers and services in exactly the state the application expects. And we are not actively supporting the workflow of leaving Cura open through a system suspend/resume cycle.

Cura is a slicer, not a continuously running application. The expected workflow is to open Cura, prepare and slice the project, export the result, and close the application.
