Slicing gets stuck indefinitely, another one

Moving around the build plate does not help, rotating does not either. Lifting it down, nope. What helps is tilting it up by even a mere 0.3°. Then a part of the bottom is not touching the plate. And then it slices. If I then however correct this by moving the print down so it gets cut by the plate and none of the outside walls are mid-air, again, it just doesn't slice. No error, just waiting indefinitely.

This issue is related to a slicing error, but it seems a project file (.zip) is missing.
Please attach a .zip file containing your project (including models and profiles) so we can reproduce the issue.
This will help us investigate and resolve the problem more effectively.

Include a project file that contains the model you're having the issue with as a .zip file.
Go to the File menu > Save Project..., and save the package.
Then create a .zip file with the package, attach the .zip file to this issue.

Have Cura open with your project that fails to slice, go to Help > Export Package For Technical Support, and save the package.
Then create a .zip file with the package, attach the .zip file to this issue.

EDIT: I have to know, how did you figure this out? Is there a debug flag I can add to cura to have more console output to track this, or did you attach a debugger/profiler to it?
I tried to check off various settings, but there is only so much time you can spend on that, especially on a potato machine.

InstantMuffin we have an error tracking system using sentry that sends anonymous data regarding slice fails, this issue was identified late in the release period but also because we didn't have a high beta participation from the community.
Currently it's either utilizing that system or running the engine from source that can track these issues, outside of that it's mostly investigative deductions based on the changes introduced and bug tracking experience.
We also have plans for better error communication from the engine but with a super small team, it's not high on the order of things to do.
