3. Clarify compliance and limitations of this IPTV client software.

This repository (SHAJON-404/iptv) is a client-side player. We do not host, store, stream, or retransmit any media files, video streams, or channels on our servers. The database files (.json and .m3u playlists) contain only reference links that are publicly accessible on the internet.

If you are a copyright owner or an agent representing a copyright owner and believe that any content linked within our playlists infringes upon your copyrights, we kindly request that you contact us directly first.

By contacting us directly, we can bypass lengthy administrative processes and remove the infringing links immediately (typically within 24–48 hours). Filing a formal DMCA notice with GitHub or hosting providers takes longer and creates unnecessary overhead for both parties, whereas a direct message resolves the issue instantly.

To request the removal of a link, please send a message with the following details:

1. Infringing Link: The exact channel name or streaming link from our JSON/M3U playlist that you wish to be removed.
2. Proof of Ownership: A brief statement or evidence showing that you are the rightful owner or authorized representative of the copyrighted material.
3. Contact Info: Your name and contact details (email or profile).

If you discover a security vulnerability in this application (such as remote code execution, XSS, caching vulnerabilities, or sensitive data leakage), please do not open a public issue on GitHub. Publicly disclosing vulnerabilities exposes all users to potential exploits before a patch can be developed.

When reporting, please include:
