KDP rejected the paperback because stage names were printed inside the fore-edge tabs, outside the permitted text margins. Remove the wording from all 40 Move-page tabs while retaining the colour index, raise the footer clearance, and check every rendered text fragment on all four page edges, including furniture, SVG text and preserved whitespace.
Release 6.4.8 regenerates the interior, covers, EPUB and website. The interior remains 76 pages; trim, ISBNs and prices are unchanged. The website now links to the verified live Kindle listing. PUBLISHING.md records the rejection and current status of each format.
Validation: 48 tests pass;
make verify audit artefacts pricing releasable amazonpasses. Independent PDF measurement found zero text-margin violations across all 76 pages at a conservative 12.7 mm PDF-edge floor. The rejected pages 36–39 were rendered and visually checked. Five new regression tests cover edge-tab text, mirrored margins, headers/footers, SVG, preserved spaces and thicker-book gutters.
