This repo contains python codes to evaluate the roots of the electrostatic dispersion relation (multi species) and fully electromagnetic one (single species) in the perpendicular limit. It also contains a solver for finding k(x) as a function for position for given frequencies.

All scripts have included a branch tracker that turns the individual roots into branch (or ray) solutions.

About

This repo contains python scripts to compute ES dispersion branches, kinetic EM branches (for single species), and k(x) in inhomogeneous plasmas for a given frequency of the wave.
