Zima OS cant boot on old computer

Hello, IceWhaleTech.

So i have an old pc and i wanted to install Zima OS on it. So i "Installed it" and when i rebooted it said that there isnt any operating system. I tried many things. Enableling CSM and setting it to UEFI only, disabeling CSM, trying to change the system to MBR with rufus trough ALT + R and renaming the .img to .iso. Nothing worked. It always ended with "No operating system found. Press any key to retry boot sequence." My pc is a Lenovo thinkcentre edge
72 A class with an intel core i3-2120 3300Mhz, 250gb and 6tb hdd, 4gb ddr3 ram. I don't know the graphics card's name but it has 3 numbers and it's from nvidia. Thanks!

I had this happen back on an older version of ZimaOS, maybe 1.5.x?

It was an ancient ThinkCentre tower PC. I removed all drives and the optical disc drive, only kept one SSD installed. Then I reset the BIOS to defaults. On my laptop I used balenaEtcher to write the installer, no custom settings or anything, the flash drive was USB2.0 if I remember it was really slow. First reboot, PC turned on with power but no display and no beeps. I removed the USB at this point I think. Flicked off the PSU power switch or unplugged it, then plugged back in. On boot this time I booted into the BIOS, selected the boot device manually and hit enter, got into ZimaOS. Worked fine after that. The machine used DDR3 but I cannot recall the CPU at all. GPU was a newer P400 or P2200.

Old PCs also may have the setting like "Windows 8 support". But I don't remember what is better to on or off. You can try to toggle it. In my case it helped.
