Turning complex technology into content and tools developers actually use
I build developer tools and write the technical content that gets them adopted. Right now I'm Technical Content Creator at Altimate AI, writing for data engineers, and I run Developer Relations and security content at AccuKnox (the team behind KubeArmor). Before that I freelanced as a Python specialist for TutorialsPoint, writing tutorials on Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Flask, and Django.
My work sits where engineering meets communication: CLIs on PyPI, AI automation pipelines, and documentation that ranks and converts.
π₯ Current Focus:
- Writing for data engineers at Altimate AI (dbt tooling, Power User)
- AI and cloud security content and DevRel at AccuKnox
- Building 10x DevRel, an AI-native operating system for developer relations
- Shipping open source developer tools (substack-cli, groundtruth, quotecard, VocabCLI, musicli)
- Growing atharvashah.com into a full content and product brand
Three tools I built in 2026, each one because the thing I needed did not exist yet.
substack-cli runs my newsletter from a terminal. Substack has no public API, so I wrote one. It has shipped 79 posts to a live publication, and the audit command reports what an update would destroy before it destroys anything. Python standard library only, no dependencies.
groundtruth pins every claim in a document to the exact words in its source. It refuses a claim it cannot find in your document, and it refuses a quote it cannot find in the source. Then it fails your build when either side moves. 203 tests, one runtime dependency, on npm.
quotecard turns a post link or a typed line into a branded PNG. A good sentence dies inside one platform, and as an image it travels. X posts, Substack notes, Substack articles, Threads posts, or any text. Batch 40 links in one browser session, and no watermark.
| Project | What it is | Stars |
|---|---|---|
| substack-cli | A command line client for Substack. Push, pull, schedule and publish on the Python standard library alone | |
| groundtruth | Claim-to-source verification for writing. Every number stays anchored, or CI fails | |
| quotecard | Paste a link, get a quote card PNG. X, Substack, Threads, or any line you type. No watermark | |
| 10x DevRel | AI-native operating system for developer relations: AI playbooks, tools, a companion, and a practitioner library | π Live |
| VocabCLI | AI-powered vocabulary builder for the terminal, published on PyPI | |
| Media-Analysis | Streamlit app that turns Goodreads, Letterboxd, and Steam data into dashboards | |
| Letterboxd-Movie-Runtimes | Python CLI that computes the total runtime of your logged films | |
| musicli | AI music ratings, tier lists, and reviews from your terminal, on PyPI | |
| Genius-Exporter | Exports full-album lyrics and annotations to Markdown and PDF | |
| Malazan-Compendium | Chapter-by-chapter compendium for the Malazan Book of the Fallen |
