My defi wallet is taking forever to synchronise

My defi wallet on my computer (MacOS) has an error with the synchronising and the balances have now gone to zero. Synchronising takes forever - I had the computer on for 2 days*24 hours and still it is at 17.9%. I downloaded the snapshot and there is an error saying the data is corrupted.

What can I do to recover my funds on the wallet? Please help.
