Sigil for IntelliJ IDEA

IntelliJ Platform plugin providing language support for SNBT (stringified NBT) — built on top of the Sigil parser.

Features:

• File type association for .snbt files
• Syntax highlighting (numbers, strings, keywords, comments, brackets)
• On-the-fly error reporting via Sigil's parser
• Brace and bracket matching
• Line (//) and block (/* */) comment toggling
• Both " and ' string delimiters
• Recognizes hex (0xFF), binary (0b1010), octal (0o755) literals
• Recognizes named float literals (Infinity, NaN) and unsigned suffixes (ub, us, ui, ul)

Build

./gradlew buildPlugin

Produces a distributable plugin zip in build/distributions/.

Run a sandbox IDE

./gradlew runIde

Launches a clean IntelliJ Community instance with the plugin installed for manual testing.

Dependencies

• net.craftersmc:sigil — the SNBT parser/writer (consumed via the local Maven repository; install Sigil with mvn install first).
• org.cloudburstmc:nbt — pulled transitively by Sigil.
