Implement comprehensive notification system for email and in-app notifications.

Description

Create a notification system that sends email notifications and displays in-app notifications for important events (analysis completion, security alerts, etc.).

Partial (2026-05-15): Transactional email via Postmark is live (register verification, password reset, resend). emailService.ts + VerifyEmail page.

Still open: in-app notification center, preferences, read/unread, real-time delivery beyond existing Socket.IO analysis events.

Progress update: implemented the in-app notification core. Added persistent notifications model/service/routes, notification API, frontend notifications page, navbar entry, and automatic notifications for analysis completed/failed events. Still open because email delivery and notification preferences remain to be implemented.
