[Bug] ~3s audio output latency in v2.2.8 (regression from v2.2.6)

Environment

• OS: Linux (NixOS / PipeWire)
• App Version: v2.2.8 (AppImage)
• Connection Method: WiFi (UDP)
• Audio Settings: All filters/effects disabled; Recommended audio format (matching Android app)

Description

Upgrading from v2.2.6 to v2.2.8 introduces a ~3-second delay in audio output.

Observed Behavior

• The in-app visual audio level meter responds instantly when speaking into the phone.
• The actual audio output (heard and visible in pavucontrol) is delayed by approximately 3 seconds.

Additional Context

Running the v2.2.6 AppImage under the exact same system, network, and audio configuration produces no noticeable latency.

I just encountered a similar problem, and downgrading to version 2.2.6 resolved it.

Having the same issue; 2.2.6 doesn't work for me as it doesn't support pulseaudio.
