Enterprise security controls

VSCode allows easy enterprise management such as extension limitations and security controls through registry settings and Windows group policy ADMX files.
Is it possible, or are there any plans for Positron to also support these controls? Either by using the VSCode ones which are already in place or via a new registry path. Having a way to enforce what extensions can be installed and forcing sandbox mode would be really useful in an enterprise environment.

We have a couple of ways for organizations to control what happens with their Positron users.

Since we're built on Code OSS, you can use the same infrastructure as VS Code for centrally managing settings:

Alternatively, Posit Workbench provides support for admins to enforce settings:
