IQ-Tree Server availability

Are there any updates on the expected timeline for the web server to be available again? This would be very helpful for teaching planning.

I would also love an answer on this...I was relying on the IQ-Tree server for a project, but now I might have to pivot to another option if it will still be down for a while.

Dear Annakate, dear msantorsola, about the update of the IQ-TREE webserver at CIBIV. We are mostly done and in testing phase at the moment. We are experiencing some problems in the linkup to SLURM in the backend. We hope to be able to fix that soon to finally go into production. As a temporary work-around you may consider the IQ-TREE webserver at the LANL: https://www.hiv.lanl.gov/content/sequence/IQTREE/iqtree.html Sorry for the waiting time being longer than expected, Heiko

Dear Ines, dear Annakate, dear msantorsola,

finally there is something positive to be reported about the IQ-TREE webserver re-build.
Yesterday we could solve a painstaking security problem that was holding us up for far too long.

We now have entered the final testing phase to get rid of some final glitches.
We are planning to get it online next week.

If you need the web interface for teaching, please contact me directly via heiko.schmidt AT univie.ac.at, indicating when your course will start / when you will need the access. This helps to schedule the final steps.
