Completely agree with what you stated here, individually turning off luma and color averages has been very tedious especially when trying to do archiving across a large number of images (more than 36). The "film roll global settings" suggestion you make would be a great addition. I'm also having the same issue with undoing changes across a whole roll, if there was a way to completely start from scratch and ignore any stored edit metadata I would use it. |

I totally agree with the notion that an overhaul would make the software even better |

Firstly, I love that this software exists, and I'm happy to see how much it's grown in such a short time!
With that said, I believe there are some quality of life improvements that could be made to help make negpy more user-friendly. I'll list out some of the issues I've had that make using the software challenging, and suggest some improvements as well. Most of it boils down to: 1. Does this setting apply per image/roll/universally, and 2. Can I reset the state of an image/roll.
I've read the part of the docs about what carries to the next frame. This definitely helped clear up how some of the settings are applied, but it does feel a bit clunky to me. In my opinion, it would be more useful to have a tab or separate area for rig/roll settings, and then the normal per-image settings, even if there is overlap. The per-image settings could have a "use rig/roll settings" checkbox. This would help make it clear what the roll settings are and which photos deviate from those.
Some of the issues I've had are:
I'll just finish by saying that I love this software, and how quick folks are to respond to issues and add new features! I hope my observations here can help to shape it into something even better. Keep up the good work!
