I'm frequently running into the issue where when starting the runServer task using IntelliJ Debugger, the server process sometimes is not terminated when stopping or restarting the Debugger run configuration.
This leads to runaway processes which need to be terminated manually each time, disrupting development.
I'm running on:
- archlinux 6.18.42-1-lts
- KDE Plasma 6.7.4
- IntelliJ IDEA 2026.2, Build #IU-262.8665.258, built on July 15, 2026
The plugin is configured to run Paper 26.2.
