What if network fails during multipart upload, how can we handle missing chunks

I've some question regarding multipart upload

I want to upload audio record audio in real time and send it to AWS using multipart upload

1. then how can I handle if network goes down for a certain time period
2. what if user didn't press stop recording and closes the browser then how can aws knows when the audio recording stops and when to stop uploading
